Concerts & Events

Great Neck Music Conservatory students have many opportunities to perform. Our end of semester recitals are held for all students in the relaxed atmosphere of our Amedeus Room. Recitals for advanced students are presented at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, the grand Steinway Hall in Manhattan, Bechstein Piano Centre, Port Washington’s wonderful Jeanne Rimsky Theater and many other venues. Throughout the year there are masterclasses, jam sessions and impromptu practice recitals in front of peers, and students are often invited to perform in outreach concerts at assisted living centers and other local venues. Advanced students are encouraged and prepared for solo recitals, competitions, recordings and other creative projects.

Check our monthly calendar often for a variety of great performances including Faculty Concerts, Masterclasses, Guest Artists, Jam Sessions, Sing-alongs, Student Recitals, Adult Workshops and Story-telling with Music.
