Tony Allen (percussion)

Drummer Tony Allen attended Berklee College of Music, toured extensively and eventually settled in Manhattan. He has toured and recorded with artists such as Usher, Busta Rhymes, Jon Herrington, and Kid Creole and The Coconuts. Tony specializes in drums, congas, and assorted hand percussion. He has been a Lead Musician for the National Dance Institute of Harlem. Tony is also professionally recognized for his performances of Contemporary and Jazz music, and has in depth knowledge of drum and recording equipment. As a teacher, Tony is enthusiastic and imaginative, and a favorite among students.
